It is mentioned several times in the prose with information directly from Bava and Freda that Freda left the film, and Bava came in to complete directing it. Ditto for the infobox, where "References are acceptable in some cases, but generally not needed in infoboxes if the content is repeated (and cited) elsewhere or if the information is obvious. Three of the sources you mention state that Bava took over direction. And we don't usually cite Encyclopedia's on Wikipedia for reasons I've already mentioned on the talk page. The sources I've done are taken from recently published and peer-reviewed books from film historians, so I do not really see any real POV except your own where you wish to say Bava did not direct the film.
