Operation Overdrive
I figured it'd be a better idea to chat with you on your talk page instead of trying to communicate via edit descriptions, which leaves room for very little actual discussion. :)
Ryulong and I aren't reverting your edits to Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive because they're wrong, not by any means. BurgundyRanger and KyL416 have proven themselves, over years of time, to be legit sources of information, and there is really no reason to doubt that Nothing to Lose and Crown and Punishment are the titles of the last two episodes of this season of PR.
The problem is that they way they've been revealed wouldn't fly in Wikipedia's verifiability rules. And before you ask, the way Wikipedia treats verifiability has nothing to do with the common definition of the word; glancing through the link I just offered will give you a full explanation of what Wikipedia means.
What it basically boils down to, however, is that in order for something to appear on Wikipedia and not have a chance of being deleted immediately, it needs to be cited with proper primary, secondary, or tertiary sources. In the case of Power Rangers, primary sources would be Disney's own public relations department, while secondary and tertiary sources would basically compromise companies/journalists/websites with press access, such as tvguide.com. The reason we can't put those two titles on the article, then, is simply because they need to appear in a TV schedule on either Disney's site or a resource like TVGuide first. Internet message boards and other user-input sites (like tv.com or IMDb) generally can't be used as proper citations due to their potential for vandalism, much like Wikipedia itself.
We use a Jetix schedule in the article for linking, and I've noticed you've been trying to use that site as a reference to Nothing to Lose's title, but you may not have realized that if you click that link, NtL isn't there; the Jetix schedule only shows one week in advance, so NtL won't appear up there until next Tuesday. TVGuide's scheduling for PR is a lot more open-ended; they list when PR airs, but don't always add episode titles early; the last few weeks had them put up episode titles the day of airing.
So all in all, this basically comes down to the following: Nothing to Lose can't go on the article until six days from now at the earliest, due to Wikipedia's rules. Unless TVGuide.com gets it up earlier, Crown and Punishment can't go up until one week after that. It's not a strike against you or your sourcing; it's just the way WP:V works. - I found proof on Jetix TV listings and on www.tvguide.com that this information is verifiable. If you don't believe me then check for yourselves. It is on Jetix TV listings under other Power Rangers Operation Overdrive episodes.
- That's actually what I was talking about fifth paragraph down in my note. The Jetix schedule you're referring to is the exact same one I was referring to, the one already linked to in OO's article, http://tvlistings4.zap2it.com/jetix/grid_one.asp?station_num=12499&partner_id=jetix. Nowhere on that page is Nothing to Lose listed, because that schedule only shows one week in advance, to Wednesday Oct. 31. The only new OO episode currently listed on that schedule is Monday Oct. 29's episode, Two Fallen Foes. NtL doesn't air until Nov. 5, so it won't show up on that schedule site until Tuesday Oct. 30.
- As for tvguide.com, the episode list you're referring to, http://www.tvguide.com/detail/tv-show.aspx?tvobjectid=286402&more=ucepisodelist, only shows up to Two Fallen Foes. So again, in both cases, Nothing to Lose and Crown and Punishment aren't listed, and can't be added to the OO article until they are. If you don't mind waiting five days, that's all we'd have to do before the Jetix link finally adds NtL and, therefore, we can add it to the OO article.
- Again, let me make it clear that when I'm saying "verifiable", I'm talking about Wikipedia's verifiability standards, which have nothing to do with "whether BurgundyRanger and KyL416 are telling the truth" or not. I have no doubts at all that they're telling the truth, and am 100% sure these are the finale titles; I've been using their MF and OO episode titles on my own personal website for a year and a half now without qualm. But Wikipedia's standards are blocking us from using those titles until another source verifies their info, and the Jetix and TVGuide sites are a week or two away from doing so. Arrowned 05:05, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
I wasn't talking about episodes lists I was taking about TV listings on TV guide channel dot com and other Power Rangers Operation Overdrive episodes on Jetix TV listings you dumb a**.
- It might be a good idea to keep in mind that personal attacks are something that can quickly get you banned on Wikipedia, along with vandalism, as I'm sure the automatic messages by the bot below have already made clear. It's not that difficult to make your point clear without having to degrade to insults.
- Jetix's TV listings do not show Nothing to Lose in any way, shape, of form. TVGuide.com, on the other hand, I'll give you. I was looking at the episode listings in particular and not the general channel listings. Now that I know exactly what you're talking about, I'll happily add NtL to the article without an issue, albeit with the proper link; the previous TVGuide.com link we had been using wouldn't be the correct one to use here, nor the Jetix link you copy/pasted. Yes it does. First you click on the Jetix TV listing hyper link, then you click on the episode that airs today. Then you click on other Operation Overdrive episodes. After you scroll down right below the episode called Man of Mercury you will see the episode Nothing to Lose. If you don't understand the instructions above then type in this website http://tvlistings4.zap2it.com/jetix/series.asp?prog_id=4209771&series_id=4384148&rating=TV-Y7 & partner_id=jetix or this one http://tvlistings4.zap2it.com/jetix/program.asp?prog_id=5947014&series_id=4384148&partner_id=jetix. Thank you very much for changing that for me.
Sorry about the insult, but I knew you weren't looking in the right place. Someone just added it Operation Overdrive airings on TV guide dot com. I'm sorry for all the trouble that was caused, but I am new in Wikipedia and I don't know how to make new references. Can you please ask Ryulong to please revert the ban on me please. Next time there is a change I will write on my talk page and you will change it for me.

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to User:Arrowned. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Gscshoyru 00:44, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to User:Arrowned, you will be blocked from editing. Gscshoyru 00:54, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors.
