Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Hello, ScorpSt. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

Slow down, cowboy!

Reverting a new article to a redirect is the same as deleting a new article. It needs to be discussed before being done unilaterally by a user. If you think the artist is non-notable, make that argument and allow it to proceed in the normal manner. I'm going to go ahead and re-revert, and put a notice at the top that notability is under debate. You can then make your argument that the article should disappear, if you like. Thanks!
