2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Group C
Appearance
The 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Group stage was played in four groups of five teams. Top two teams of each group, advanced to the Super 8 stage.[1]
On 12 June 2024, West Indies became the first team to be qualified for the Super 8 from Group C after defeating New Zealand at Brian Lara Cricket Academy.[2] Afghanistan became the second team to be qualified from Group C after defeating Papua New Guinea at Brian Lara Cricket Academy on 13 June 2024.[3] West Indies progressed to their pre-seeded position C2, while Afghanistan took position C1 which was originally pre-seeded to New Zealand.[4]
