Español: Vista del elaborado techo de la catedral Vank o catedral de de San Salvador en Isfahán, posiblemente el templo cristiano más destacado en la República Islámica de Irán. La construcción de esta iglesia apostólica armenia comenzó en 1606 y no finalizaría hasta una fecha entre los años 1655 y 1664. El templo se dedicó a los cientos de miles de armenioiranís deportados que fueron acogidos por Abás el Grande durante la Guerra Safávida-Otomana de 1603-1618.
English: View of the rich ceiling of the Vank Cathedral in Isfahan, possibly the most impressive christian temple in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The construction of the Armenian Apostolic church, formaly known as Holy Savior Cathedral, began in 1606 and was finished between 1655 and 1664. The temple was dedicated to the hundreds of thousands of Armenian deportees that were resettled by Shah Abbas I during the Ottoman War of 1603-1618.
