I met Cecilia and three of her six children. Two days before, they had walked three hours from Katwiguru. She said that many Rwandan speaking soldiers had come to her village and had begun beating the villagers, so they fled. Three of her children were still in the village. She was cooking maize that she had earned working in the field of a local. The help she most wanted was plastic sheeting for the roof of her hut. She would not return until her village was safe. The people in the surrounding huts were also from Katwiguru.
