Description
English: "This photo depicts the 700 year old Great Zimbabwe Ruins; one of the South African sites visited by two Marburg patients, 1975. A CDC epidemiologic investigation revealed that in 1975, a traveler (case #1), most likely exposed in Zimbabwe, became ill in Johannesburg, South Africa, and passed the Marburg virus to his traveling companion (case #2), and a nurse (case #3)."
