Français : Description:En France, depuis 1901, après avoir déménagé dans plusieurs lieux sur l'île d'Ouessant,, Finistère (29), la station Ouessant TSF, Indicatif radio FFU (station Française Fixe de Ushant), (depuis le Stiff), a été dès 1904 la première station française opérationnelle en liaison avec une flotte de 80 paquebots sur les deux fréquences de 500 kHz (émission de FFU) et 1000 kHz (réception de FFU). Détruite en 1913 (surtension). La station FFU de Lampaul assure seule les transmissions. Détruite en 1944 par fait de guerre, Ouessant TSF n'a jamais été reconstruite.
