The old South Ferry station reopened to customers at 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013. Closed since 2009, the station has been renovated and placed back in service while the new station, which was damaged during Hurricane Sandy, is repaired.
MTA Interim Chairman Fernando Ferrer greets customers outside the station, and welcomes them to "the new Old South Ferry."
