English: Down ECML 'Blue Spot' fish empties passing Harringay Station.
View southwards, towards Finsbury Park and King's Cross. Before all the traffic was lost to road, an accelerated rail service for the fish traffic from Aberdeen, Hull, Grimsby etc. to London was provided by BR (Eastern Region) employing new vacuum-fitted insulated vans designated 'Blue Spot'. Here a train of empty vans is being being worked back northward on the Down Fast line through Harringay, forging ahead with BR Standard 9F 2-10-0 No. 92174.
