English: Site of former Ipstones station, 1999.
View NW from the B5053 road, towards Leek: ex-North Stafford Railway Leek - Waterhouses branch. The line had been opened as recently as 1905 when the passenger service was withdrawn from 30/9/35, but goods continued until 4/5/64 (to Caldon, to Waterhouses 1/3/43). (The station was anyway nearly two miles over the moors from Ipstomes village). However, recently (November 2010) the line has been restored by the Moorland & City Railway.
