English: WASHINGTON ROAD BRIDGE WAS BUILT TO REPLACE AN OLDER BRIDGE OVER STONY CREEK. IT USED SOME OF THE SAME MATERIALS USED IN THE EARLIER BRIDGE. IT WAS ALTERED IN 1938 TO MAKE IT WIDER.
THE PICTURE PRESENTLY EXISTING ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER LIST IS NOT ONE OF THE CONTRIBUTING STRUCTURES TO THE HISTORIC DISTRICT. THE TWO MOST PROMINENT FEATURES OF THE DISTRICT IS THE WASHINGTON ROAD BRIDGE AND THE PRINCETON BOATHOUSE. IT WILL SEND A PICTURE OF BOTH
