Description The three experimental Lockheed XH-51 helicopters in flight (front to back): XH-51A Compound, modified with a four-bladed rotor and stub wings and an auxiliary 2,900 hp Pratt & Whitney J60-2 engine; XH-51A, it had four places and a three-bladed rotor; XH-51N, with five places, a three-bladed rotor, built for NASA test purposes.
