A bientôt.
English: Signed letter (draft?) of Roger Vailland to André Breton, remembering surrealism and the "cadavres exquis" (excellent corpses, method for group work of surrealist artists or poets). Published in 1987 in the magazine Le Croquant (since gone).
Translation of the text:
I just have read the statements
you made in La Semaine in Le
Monde (newspaper supplement, The Week of The World?). But don't you know what
is going on "in the world" [pun on the newspaper name]. Have you missed the fact
that for some years already, you don't use
words anymore to make a Cadavre?
See you soon
Vertaling
