The largest of the NER 0-6-0s, LNER Class J27 were particularly succesful and long-lived: No. 65816 was built in 5/08 and withdrawn 10/59, but some lasted well into 1967. (See also NZ5132 : LNER J39 0-6-0 at West Hartlepool Locomotive Depot).
