Fira de Barcelona
Fira de Barcelona (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈfiɾə ðə βərsəˈɫonə]) is a trade fair ground and organizer that was officially constituted in 1932 in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.[1] It is publicly owned company with autonomous management, organizing more than 80 trade shows, bringing together 40,000 companies and receiving three and a half million visitors.[1]
Fira de Barcelona has 365,000 meter square of exhibition floor space, one of the largest areas in Europe, divided into two exhibition centres, the initial one at Montjuïc (165,000 meter square of exhibition floor space, 50,000 outdoor) and the new one at the Gran Via business district, opened in 2007 close to L'Hospitalet de Llobregat (200,000meter square exhibition floor space).[1]

- Mobile World Congress - This is one of the biggest events in Barcelona. On July 22, 2011, GSMA announced that MWC would remain in Barcelona through 2018[2] It will move from the Montjuïc grounds to the newer Gran Via

- Saló Nàutic de Barcelona,[5] nautical show
- Construmat, construction show
- The Brandery, urban fashion show, held twice a year

Public transport
The "Montjuïc" center is served by the Barcelona Metro lines 1 and 3, at the Espanya metro station, and other transport links to Plaça Espanya such as bus lines 9, 13, 27, 30, 37, 50, 56, 57, 65, 79, 91, 109, 153, 157.
The "Gran Via" center is served by line 8 of the Barcelona Metro and FGC commuter train network, at the Europa-Fira station, and also by the bus line n. 79.
