Jaan Pakk (26 November 1901 – 8 December 1979) was an Estonian choral conductor who worked as a music teacher and conducted a wind orchestra in the town of Rakvere.[1] His most notable student is composer Arvo Pärt. In 1992, his sculpted bust was opened in Rakvere gymnasium next to the music classroom. A festival named after him that features young musicians has been held in Rakvere since 2002.[2]
