Meymeh District (Persian: بخش میمه) is a former administrative division of Shahinshahr and Meymeh County,[a] Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital was the city of Meymeh.[5]
History
[edit]After the 2006 National Census, the village of Laybid was elevated to the status of a city.[3] In 2024, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Meymeh and Vazvan County.[4]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 21,491 in 6,286 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 20,698 people in 6,533 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 23,057 inhabitants in 7,641 households.[2]
