Philip ("Phil") Edwards (3 September 1949 – 24 April 2017) was a British road racing cyclist. He represented the United Kingdom at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany, where he finished sixth in the road race, just behind teammate Phil Bayton.[1] He was a professional cyclist from 1976 to 1980.

It was reported that he died of a suspected heart attack at his home in Monaco on Monday, 24 April 2017 aged 67.[2]
