AM?
[edit]What does the postnominal "AM" stand for? --Mais oui! (talk) 18:51, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- Presumably the same as MA. Latin could put the genitive before the noun it qualified. I'm only guessing, but Artium magister is grammatically interchangeable with Magister artium. --Doric Loon (talk) 22:55, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. --Mais oui! (talk) 08:25, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Rankin/Ranken
[edit]1811 Alexander Rankin, but the Dictionary of National Biography has Alexander Ranken. Charles Matthews (talk) 16:57, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

Family Connections section
[edit]I am not sure this section works as it stands. It seems a bit like trivia and the lack of sources cited makes me wonder if there could also be original research issues. Dunarc (talk) 21:21, 29 October 2020 (UTC)

– Pretty straightforward case of MOS:JOBTITLES: "moderators" is never a proper noun when it's plural (e.g. List of presidents of the United States and List of prime ministers of the United Kingdom). Woko Sapien (talk) 18:36, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
