Talk:List of historical cities and towns of Mongolia

Should this list include only those cities/towns remaining n the territory of the Republic of Mongolia or any cities/towns found on the historical territories of the ancient empires? If the former is the answer, why does it include, for example, Sarai, Khanbalik, Hohhot, etc? If the latter is the answer, does this list include the cities/towns of the Khitan Empire, for example, beyond modern Mongolia? Gantuya eng (talk) 15:26, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
