In the German version, you can read:

Nachdem die Niederländer 1591 die Stadt wieder eingenommen hatten, wurden die Leichenteile Schenks eingesammelt. Er erhielt ein Staatsbegräbnis.

i.e.:

After the Dutch retook the city in 1591, Schenk's body parts were collected. He received a state funeral.
