Thanks to those who have improved this article since I stubbed it! Mooveeguy 17:51, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

When did he really ripped off his mask? Was it 1984 as it is told here? or in 1981 New Year's Eve concert? Or 1983? It is different in all articles...

I repaired it a little... 1981 was the year when he ripped off his mask.

Paragraph with dispute

[edit]

I have moved the below paragraph from the article as it contradicts itself with the starred "correction" at the end. If someone can find sources and fix the text, please do so. Aleta 17:47, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In 1989, an album appeared at radio stations across the country along with a single. The album and single was titled Spelling On The Stone. The song tells of a man who fake his death and a clue was left behind on the tombstone which the name was misspelled. Before this album was made, many people who thought Elvis was alive have said a clue was left behind - a misspelled tombstone (Elvis Aaron Presley). Two A's appeared on Elvis' stone which many of those fan thinks that his name was misspelled. So the album Spelling On The Stone brought a whole new meaning of the Elvis Is Alive theories. But the question was, Who is singing on the album? No name appeared on the LP or single. All is on the front is the name of the album and a headstone under the name of the album. A man wearing Elvis type sunglasses going by the name of Steven Silvers said it is him the LP. More theories of Elvis Is Alive came up because Elvis' name appears in the last name. But it was later found out that is was Jimmy Ellis who is singing on the LP. ***Correction: The singer on the LP was Dan Willis, produced by Lee Stoller (Cristy Lane's husband.)***

Merge request

[edit]
  • I have placed this comment on the Jimmy "Orion" Ellis talk page since the two do not appear to be tied together.

There is an undated merge request concerning two articles on the same person. A search indicates that this title is more notable. It seems to me there really didn't need to be a merge request as a bold move would have been sufficient and the name could have been worked out. Since there is a merge request would someone weigh in on this? Otr500 (talk) 14:08, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
