Wrong information in this article due to a bad source
[edit]As of May 26, 2024, in the section called "Political career," this article says, "Knous ran for lieutenant governor in 1956 and although he won 59 of 63 ocounties [sic], he lost the election to Sam Taylor." This statement is backed up by a reliable source, reference number 1 (Denver Post).
However, this is not correct. Knous lost the Democratic primary to Taylor, not the general election. They were both Democrats. See here. In the 1956 general election, Taylor lost to Frank L. Hays who became Lieutenant Governor. Jeffrey Beall (talk) 10:59, 26 May 2024 (UTC).
