is there anything i need to rectify in the article? NelsonLee20042020 (talk) 11:35, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- @NelsonLee20042020: Did some edits. Try to include details such as the investigation findings. Also, try not to cite primary sources. The memoir is a primary source. I managed to find a secondary source to back the statement out. I am uncertain about the article title. Conventionally, it should be "Murders of Tay XX and Tan YY", not "Trials of ZZ Tiwary". Probably need a second opinion about this. – robertsky (talk) 04:42, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

how do you change the title NelsonLee20042020 (talk) 07:34, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- You need to move the page to change the title. I would suggest that the article be named "Sydney double murders" as the case is known by this title. Any thoughts? TheGreatSG'rean (talk) 10:44, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
Note: Discussion moved from Talk:List of major crimes in Singapore (2000–present)#Condensing cases in 2010s and adding more cases in the past decades. – robertsky (talk) 16:30, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- @TheGreatSG'rean: Can find source to resolve the cn tag first? :D – robertsky (talk) 16:46, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- Done. TheGreatSG'rean (talk) 17:20, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- @TheGreatSG'rean: I don't see explicit call outs referring the case as "Sydney double murders" in the cited source though. – robertsky (talk) 06:24, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- If it was only mentioned in the book, what should this case be called then? There's no specific name other than Sydney double murders. TheGreatSG'rean (talk) 07:04, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- @TheGreatSG'rean: a search on ProQuest (you can access the database here) using "Ram Puneet Tiwary" shows some news articles referring the case in the headlines as "baseball bat murders". However, a search with "baseball bat murders" shows that the choice of weapon is not unique to this case. I don't think it should be called 'Sydney double murders' as there is an active, unrelated case dominating Google Search the keywords "sydney double murders" at the moment. Get Rea! calls it "Sydney Murders Mystery", but there are plenty of murder mysteries around as well... I would rather go for something more mundane, "Death/Murders of Tay XX and Tan YY". – robertsky (talk) 07:53, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Robertsky: I would agree with this proposal, given the very mundane nature of it. Thanks. TheGreatSG'rean (talk) 12:00, 23 June 2020 (UTC)

@NelsonLee20042020: Why did you move the page when there is an active discussion here? – robertsky (talk) 06:30, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- Moved article as per above discussion. "Sydney Double Murders" does not seem to be widely used outside of the book title. 162 etc. (talk) 19:33, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
