Pollicipes polymerus

[edit]

Pollicipes polymerus

  • Reviewed: Christmas Gift Evans House
  • Comment: Hook reference is three quarters of the way through the paper under the subheading "Self fertilization".

Created/expanded by Cwmhiraeth (talk). Self nom at 11:37, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

  • Hook fact good. Article length, references, and age good. No policy issues found. Image status good. --Kevmin § 02:08, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Although the term "gooseneck barnacle" can be used for this species, it is more generally used to refer to the whole order. I would suggest re-wording it to clrify that we're talking about a particular species: --Stemonitis (talk) 20:00, 11 February 2012 (UTC)

ALT1: ... that the gooseneck barnacle Pollicipes polymerus (several pictured) will be sterile if there are no others within 20 cm (8 in)?
