As you can see from my user boxes, I am proud to be an American (by virtue of my birth in the U.S. to an American father) and am equally proud to be a Canadian (by virtue of my birth to a Canadian mother). As a [[Multiple citizenship|dual citizen]], I enjoy sharing in the history and patriotism of my two countries, but also understand that I have myriad responsibilities as a citizen of two separate sovereign nations.
