About me

[edit]

My username

[edit]

I am not a doctor. At least, not a medical one. My username is an homage to a "young, somewhat uptight, Jewish doctor from Manhattan" whose "neurotic, almost Woody Allen-like, urban mindset" clashes with "the easy-going, community-minded people around him."

My edits

[edit]

I am merely an editor wanna-be. My contributions to Wikipedia do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of my employer.

I have never engaged (and will never engage) in paid or other conflict-of-interest editing. If you suspect that I have, please do me the courtesy of raising your suspicions on my talk page. If my response does not satisfy you then I welcome you to raise the issue for community discussion on the appropriate noticeboard.

My e-mail

[edit]

I have disabled my e-mail to make it more difficult for others to accuse me of engaging in improper off-wiki communication. If you absolutely must discuss something with me off-wiki then please leave a note on my talk page and I will temporarily re-enable my e-mail.

Interests

[edit]

My interests tend to revolve around law and politics, particularly on areas related to American conservatism, digital privacy, government secrecy, and consumer protection. However I find myself also doing quite a bit of police work across all subject matter to combat promotional editing, which I believe is Wikipedia's biggest scourge.
