European airports

[edit]

If you genuinely believe that it's worthwhile spraying citation-needed or better-source-needed tags on Airport/Destination tables for European airports, then I think you should apply the same logic to airports in other continents. Maybe start with airports in the USA like New York JFK, Chhicago O'Hare, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas Fort Worth, Atlanta, etc. It is important to be consistent in your logic across wikipedia. You seem to be the only person spraying citation-needed tags everywhere - in 3 months time, you are likely to find that all Airport/Destination tables lose very large amounts of information, and there will then be a proposal to delete Airport/Destination tables form wikipedia entirely. These tables have been built up by many volunteers over 15+ years, and your actions will likely lead to them being deleted entirely by the end of the year. Please think carefully as to the consequences of your actions. Pmbma (talk) 14:53, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have just 1 body to do the work. And today I did a few European airports plus an Asian one. Interesting is that cheap airlines are usually more poorly sourced than "normal" airlines. And regarding your scare tactic: I could not care less. The Banner talk 15:00, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
By coincidence, did some Australian and more Asian airports.
And to explain my lack of care about potential removal of the connection tables: I have strong suspicions about spamming in these tables. The Banner talk 16:43, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
