--Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:31, 24 February 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you user:Gerda Arendt! Time flies when we're having fun. Thank you very much for your kind recognition. Taoe care and I hope 2024 is a great year for you. FloridaArmy (talk) 00:56, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
Already finished writing it, but seems like the kind of topic you might be interested in. BeanieFan11 (talk) 03:18, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- I enjoyed reading about him user:BeanieFan11. Thanks for your great work on the entry. Kudos. FloridaArmy (talk) 00:54, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- – BTW, I still haven't given up on answering your question about the 1890s Delaware Republican Party split. Expect in the next few months an extensive explanation of the whole thing to be published! :) BeanieFan11 (talk) 01:20, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- User:BeanieFan11 one of my college professor's asked us why the inventor of the cotton gin, Eli Whitney is so famous and I am still wrestling with the answer. Not to mention the chicken or the egg debate. FloridaArmy (talk) 01:25, 29 February 2024 (UTC)

Racism[edit]
Hey there, long time no speak. Question, we've spoken about racism before and how it impacts blacks and civil rights figures from early periods of our history and how we present articles here. Do you have an opinion on how to present the racists from the same time? I authored an article John Galen Locke this last week and I was curious if you might opine on what you think should be done differently or highlighted for this subject. I dislike his platform, ideas etc but believe that historic figures, even bad men, should be covered here. Unbroken Chain (talk) 15:56, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- User:Unbroken Chain white supremacy, slavery, segregation, racism, and discrimination are part of history. Thank you for starting that entry. I apologize for my slow response, I have a lot of thoughts on the broader issues and Wikipedia, but mostly I just want to encourage you and anybody ne else interested to dive in. I've learned a lot. Some is pretty shocking and other parts inspiring and amazing. Like life. Please let me know if I can be of any assistance. Keep up the great work. FloridaArmy (talk) 00:53, 29 February 2024 (UTC)

- I agree about the one article. Also in regards to the music school you commented on somewhere above. It seems to kenthe park os rhe broader subject but I onow NRHP peeps sometimes like to have NRHP subjects have their own entries. Also effects categories and such. Maybe move existing entry to park? Merge my stub into it? FloridaArmy (talk) 03:24, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- I'll look for the music school one. We've been in a lot of the same stubs/drafts recently (yay!) so I don't remember off hand which one that was.
- Makes sense re NHRP. I'll name the article for the House but leave your park content. I didn't actually remove anything, just re-organized it a little. Once I've done, let me know if it needs more. (Or since it's in mainspae I think you can then edit directly? Let me know if not. Always happy to help Star Mississippi 03:36, 2 March 2024 (UTC)

Dear User:FloridaArmy, I just wanted to apologise for temporarily reverting your edit on J. A. D. Rozier. I have now reversed my revert. I was too hasty in concluding that the second reference (which you added) did not make specific reference to J. A. D. Rozier, but I had not checked it carefully enough. Sorry about this. I have since taken your bare reference and expanded it and added some additional parameters to make it a more substantial reference. Hope this is ok. Hello, fellow editor! Regarding the article on Sarah Josepha Hale and your recent edits there: How certain are we that the "Baltimore Female College" referenced in the article is the historical one associated with Goucher College? It suggests that Hale received a medal from the institution two decades before its founding. Could it be a different institution or am I reading things incorrectly? I am certainly not an expert here. Many thanks. --Midnightdreary (talk) 14:49, 8 March 2024 (UTC)

Theroadislong (talk) 13:17, 19 March 2024 (UTC)Speedy deletion nomination of F. A. H. Muhlenberg[edit]
Hello, FloridaArmy,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Chaotic Enby, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged F. A. H. Muhlenberg for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. You may find our guide for writing quality articles to be extremely informative. Also, you may want to consider working on future articles in draft space first, where they cannot be deleted for lacking content.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Chaotic Enby}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Clematis baldwinii[edit]
I had to make some changes to your article on Clematis baldwinii to bring it in line with the guidance at WP:WikiProject Plants/Template. The important points are that WP:PLANTS uses the information listed for the taxon at Plants of the World Online for all flowering plants, including using the Cite POWO template, authorities and synonyms must be included in the infobox, and binomial names are always italicized everywhere, even (and especially) within the refs. Just created an article on Silvio Hein. Thought you might be interested in putting together a song list with an image or two. Finding an image of the composer would be even better. I've got ongoing work on Frank Saddler and Frank Smithson which are my two "big projects" at the moment. Smithson directed Hein's When Dreams Come True, another recent creation. Basically I'm creating some side articles that shoot off the Saddler and Smithson articles at the moment. Once those projects are wrapped I will take a look at Draft:Jack Mills (music publisher) per your request.4meter4 (talk) 06:05, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
