Hi Sekyaw

To create this as a new article, please just copy/paste your draft into the article, replacing the redirect, rather than moving the page. That way the actual history of the article, including the previous version, is still present in the history. Since you're the only author of the user space draft, there would be no attribution issue with copying and pasting it. Thanks  — Amakuru (talk) 17:22, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Amakuru: Thank you for helping me understand. Doesn't it also make sense to have the history of the sandbox in the actual article as well to show its progression, or is it best to just simply copy/paste the entire draft into the article? Sekyaw (talk) 18:06, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Personally I usually don't mind about bringing in the history of the article when it was in the sandbox... that's just revisions made in your personal space, and it wasn't part of the real article at that point. But since you want it merged in, I can do that for you.  — Amakuru (talk) 21:21, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Finished doing it. Thanks  — Amakuru (talk) 21:26, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there. There's a discussion on the WWE personnel talk page that could use more editors weighing in if you'd like to do so. Thanks! Happy End of February! DantODB (talk) 05:59, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thoughts??

[edit]

Thoughts on this Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 22:56, 6 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@WarMachineWildThing: Not sure. At first glance, the info looks kinda excessive and as if it doesn't even belong in the lead. The additions also have some minor grammar errors. If anything, whatever is new should be sorted into the body and out of the lead. Sekyaw (talk) 23:25, 6 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Kinda my thoughts hence my revert of it twice now. I also believe the IP that added it is a LTA, no proof yet. Chris "WarMachineWildThing" Talk to me 23:31, 6 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The editor pushing the new material at Big Gold Belt is clearly the latest IP sock of LTA User:Mangoeater1000. Same interests in wrestling and finances ('x wrestler earned this', 'x belt cost this'), same habit of using bare URLs as refs, same argumentative attitude. By the way, he's currently editing from unblocked sock User:Bbx118. Keep an eye on NWA World Heavyweight Championship, where I have removed his sock section. Cheers. 172.110.215.185 (talk) 20:05, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discusion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. WrestleView

[edit]

I was looking through the history of the Undisputed Era and you started the article over the redirect. Go look at WP:PW/Sources and you'll see WrestleView is one to avoid as it is on the list of unreliable sources. You need to change that reference. Thanks. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 04:36, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Fishhead2100: Per WP:PW/Sources, WrestleView is a proven reliable source. There is no need to change anything. Sekyaw (talk) 04:42, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
So it is. My bad. Since there are two drafts, has everything been moved over that can be moved over? Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 04:44, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Fishhead2100: I personally haven’t moved anything over from the drafts. I derived the article from the reDRagon section, as well as my own additions. There hasn’t been many changes since I started it, so I’d assume nothing has been moved over from the drafts as of yet. Looking at the drafts, there are a lot of excessive match results backed by unreliable sources. I’d be careful on moving things over if anything were to be added. Sekyaw (talk) 04:55, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I mentioned that on the talk page of the project. PWMania, Bleacher Report, TPWW, and WrestleInc. were all used. Just keep editing and improving because those two drafts are going to stay as it is as no content was added to the first draft since April 27th while the second draft just had comments on it at the end of last month. I can help where needed. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 05:05, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Closure of The B-Team (professional wrestling)

[edit]

Hey, I was just wondering your rationale for closing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The B-Team (professional wrestling) as keep. I have never questioned a closure before, but this one surprises me. Although there were 8 keep !votes for it, and 2 delete, the arguments for keep were baseless. These are the 8 reasons for keeping "They've racked up plenty of wins", "The B-Team has earned so many wins and losses", "they now hold the Raw Tag Team Championships", " won the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship at Extreme Rules (2018)", "Have been a long running team, over several iterations and have won the tag titles", "per tag team championship reign", "Tag Team Champions on Raw", " per tag team championship reign and their win at Extreme Rules, this will only lead to a significant level of notability". Not one of the keeps state a policy based reason for it. Just because they won a championship or have been together, it doesn't mean they are notable. One of the keeps even states that by saying it will lead to it, meaning its WP:CRYSTAL. Thanks - Galatz גאליץשיחה Talk 13:54, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Galatz: I was the one who proposed the deletion, I didn’t close it. I definitely disagree with the result though. It falls under WP:TOOSOON, and might as well be the same situation with Heath Slater and Rhyno (WP:CRYSTAL). Sekyaw (talk) 16:19, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@HHH Pedrigree: Cool. I'll get started once I have the time. Just want to point out that I think it's best to put the info on wrestling style before wrestling persona, simply due to the header order reading "Professional wrestling style and persona". I just want to show you that The Beat Down Clan is kicked out of their main page and replaced by The Hurt Business (professional wrestling). So I create another new page for TNA stable The Beat Down Clan. The only mistake is that The Hurt Business replace BDC on BDC main page and it would be registrated that The Hurt Business is older stable than BDC.

Jeff Hardy

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add content which gives undue weight to some statement about a living person. On Wikipedia we take particular care over articles about living people.

New information, even if referenced, should be added only if noteworthy, relevant and documented in multiple reliable third-party sources. Wikipedia is not a newspaper and material should not be added if it is only gossip or has little longer-term importance, or if the only sourcing is tabloid journalism.

If challenged, the onus is on the editor who adds the content to justify its retention. Thank you. Those websites, while possibly considered reliable, are not stating their source. Because it's a biography of a living person, we have to be careful not to use Wikipedia to spread gossip. That section can be expand when/if Jeff or WWE speak on the matter or some other very reliable source on the subject. Otherwise it's gossip no matter how often it's getting repeated. See Wikipedia:BLPGOSSIP: Be wary of relying on sources that use weasel words and that attribute material to anonymous sources.  oncamera  (talk page) 04:42, 12 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
