I noticed that you have revised either Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri or Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire.

I intend to revise those articles following the Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Article guidelines. There are more details on the discussion pages of those articles. I'd be interested in any comments you have. It would be best if your comments were on the discussion pages of the two articles.

Thank you.

Invitation to events in June and July: bot, script, template, and Gadget makers wanted

[edit]

I invite you to the yearly Berlin hackathon, 1-3 June. Registration is now open. If you need financial assistance or help with visa or hotel, then please register by May 1st and mention it in the registration form.

This is the premier event for the MediaWiki and Wikimedia technical community. We'll be hacking, designing, teaching, and socialising, primarily talking about ResourceLoader and Gadgets (extending functionality with JavaScript), the switch to Lua for templates, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Labs.

We want to bring 100-150 people together, including lots of people who have not attended such events before. User scripts, gadgets, API use, Toolserver, Wikimedia Labs, mobile, structured data, templates -- if you are into any of these things, we want you to come!

I also thought you might want to know about other upcoming events where you can learn more about MediaWiki customization and development, how to best use the web API for bots, and various upcoming features and changes. We'd love to have power users, bot maintainers and writers, and template makers at these events so we can all learn from each other and chat about what needs doing.

Check out the the developers' days preceding Wikimania in July in Washington, DC and our other events.

Best wishes! - Sumana Harihareswara, Wikimedia Foundation's Volunteer Development Coordinator. Please reply on my talk page, here or at mediawiki.org. Sumana Harihareswara, Wikimedia Foundation Volunteer Development Coordinator 22:08, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of pending suspension of administrative permissions due to inactivity

[edit]

Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative permissions of users who have been inactive for one year (i.e. administrators who have not made any edits or logged actions in over one year). As a result of this discussion, your administrative permissions will be removed pending your return if you do not return to activity within the next month. If you wish to have these permissions reinstated should this occur, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e., as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised and that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions). This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. Notification of imminent suspension of administrative permissions due to inactivity

As a result of this discussion, your administrative permissions will be removed pending your return if you do not return to activity within the next several days. Understood. Thanks for taking the time to tell me. Daveydweeb (chat) 10:15, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I removed the {{administrator}} template from your user page. The page text references it, making the page awkward to read now. I wasn't sure how best to fix this as editing a signed statement can be problematic. I decided to leave a note on your talk page. --MZMcBride (talk) 04:10, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of change

[edit]

Hello. You are receiving this message because of a recent change to the administrator policy that alters what you were told at the time of your desysopping. The effect of the change is that if you are inactive for a continuous three year period, you will be unable to request return of the administrative user right. This includes inactive time prior to your desysopping if you were desysopped for inactivity and inactive time prior to the change in policy. Inactivity is defined as the absence of edits or logged actions. Until such time as you have been inactive for three years, you may request return of the tools at the bureaucrats' noticeboard. After you have been inactive for three years, you may seek return of the tools only through WP:RFA. Thank you. MBisanz talk 00:20, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Glucagon

[edit]

Hey, thanks for your edit to glucagon. It sent me on a journey through recent secondary sources; the only trial (PMID 7600855) had a small number of patients. Everything else is case reports and retrospective reports. I've added the relevant secondary sources to glucagon and esophageal food bolus obstruction. Feel free to expand either if you wish!

Also, if you're medically inclined please consider joining Wikiproject Medicine! JFW | T@lk 08:00, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thanks for the message. I've been away for ages, so it's encouraging to get a response like this. Your version of the article looks pretty reasonable, and thanks for letting me know. Regarding the Wikiproject, I'll check it out - I might be able to expand some of the prehospital and emergency medicine articles in my copious free time. ;) Daveydweeb (chat) 15:47, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

games TM June 2003, Issue 7 - SSX 3

[edit]

Hey! I see that you have a copy of the June 2003 issue of games TM, which has a review of SSX 3. I'm expanding the article for the game, and wondered if the review has any information on when/where the game was announced? Thanks. BlookerG (talk) 17:51, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Westlake Interactive listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Westlake Interactive. Since you had some involvement with the Westlake Interactive redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Lordtobi () 15:17, 14 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
