This first account has zero edits in English Wikipedia, but is confirmed to be part of a sockfarm with more than 100 socks in zhwiki. both LadyyTheresa and AltaMesao edited Charles Chao, both AltaMesao and blocked user User:Sharonoster added privated content in Charles Chao (Special:Diff/1191031960/1191032151 vs Special:Diff/1176544298/1176544468). Considing en:User:Lllopqqp's sockpuppetry behaviour. I think a checkuser is nedded to find its sleepers.   •  In progress... Editing Chinese BLPs on mobile isn't enough justification to check dozens of accounts. However, I ran an initial check on LadyyTheresa and AltaMesao based on the evidence provided by Kethyga. Those are  Confirmed to each other and there's more where that came from... The pattern of behavior is identical as compared to other sock puppets—stochastic removals and unsourced changes to articles about universities and contemperary Chinese politicians, and immediately blanks their user talk page when it is written on. These are clearly sockpuppets of the user in question, no one else could possibly be responsible for Hu Haifeng inspired vandalism. That being said, these are in all likelihood one-off accounts with very few edits so I can understand the declined request. Unsourced BLP additions to prominent Chinese politician articles, focusing on family and educational background, almost all of which were previously edited by sockpuppets of this user. The first 4 accounts were all created within an hour of each other, the 5th is a few days older. Since it appears that the latest strategy for this LTA is to edit only one article with each new account created, I can only assume there are more accounts out there. shoeofdeath 08:26, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
