Kevin Mills is currently an administrator in the Economics Department at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Kevin is an United States Air Force veteran having served in Kuwait during Operation Desert Fox in 1998. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from East Carolina University with a a major in Political Science and a minor in History. He is currently working on a Master of Arts in Adult Education degree. While in college, Kevin served as an intern for Senator William R. Purcell in the North Carolina General Assembly during the long session of 2005 and as a Project Development Associate with the Foundation of Renewal for Eastern North Carolina.

His main interests include the study of North Carolina Public Administration, with a concentration in State and Local Government, as well as issues related to political science, political theory, economic development, and the military history of the United States.

Kevin is a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, the Pi sigma alpha National Political Science Honor Society, the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, and the Golden Key International Honour Society. He has also received the Carlton/Troutman Scholarship for outstanding senior and the Gravely Foundation Scholarship for academic excellence.
