1784 Virginia gubernatorial election

The 1784 Virginia gubernatorial election was held on 30 November 1784 in order to elect the Governor of Virginia. Former Governor of Virginia Patrick Henry won re-election in the Virginia General Assembly as he ran unopposed.

General election

On election day, 30 November 1784, Patrick Henry easily won re-election as he ran unopposed. Henry was sworn in for his 4th term on 1 December 1784.^[1]
