The 2024–25 season will be the 125th season in the history of AFC Ajax and their 69th consecutive season in the top flight.[2] The club will participate in the Eredivisie, KNVB Cup, UEFA Europa League.

Overview[edit]
On 23 May Ajax signed the contract with new manager Francesco Farioli. His new assistent managers wil be Daniele Cavalletto, Dave Vos and Felipe Sanchez Mateos. Jelle ten Rouwelaar is the new goalkeeping coach. Further more Osman Kul is the new video analist and fitness coach is Callum Walsh.
On 31 May the new away kit for the new season and training range was released; Ajax Away: A Work of Amsterdam. [5][6]
Pre-season and friendlies[edit]
Ajax’ starts the new season with new manager Francesco Farioli. Farioli’s first day at Ajax from the new season was 12 July. [7] A large part of the Ajax selection started on Wednesday 19 June with the first tests and training methods at De Toekomst.[8] The manager’s first field training took place on Thursday, June 20.
Ajax will play a practice game with PEC Zwolle on Friday, 5 July behind closed doors at De Toekomst. De Toekomst is closed for public due to renovations and the replacement of grass. Further more there are 2 practice games played across the Netherlands, against Sint-Truiden and Rangers, these are open for public.
Also there will be a midweek training camp at the Wageningse Berg, Netherlands, from Monday July 15 to Friday July 19. During this week, two friendly matches are expected to take place. It is also the intention that an open training will be organized during the training camp.[9][10][11]
The first official games will be on 25 July and 1 August for the second qualifying round of the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League against Vojvodina. The first Eredivisie league game will be on August 11, a home game against SC Heerenveen.[12][13]
