Afrineh Rural District (Persian: دهستان افرينه) is in Afrineh District of Mamulan County, Lorestan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Afrineh.[4]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the former Mamulan District of Pol-e Dokhtar County) was 7,576 in 1,559 households.[5] There were 7,090 inhabitants in 1,775 households at the following census of 2011.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 6,893 in 1,931 households. The most populous of its 56 villages was Afrineh, with 1,944 people.[2]

In April 2023, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Mamulan County, and the rural district was transferred to the new Afrineh District.[3]
