Alamarvdasht (Persian: علامرودشت)[3][a] is a city in, and the capital of, Alamarvdasht District of Lamerd County, Fars province, Iran.[5] It also serves as the administrative center for Alamarvdasht Rural District.[6]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 3,502 in 811 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 4,095 people in 1,008 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 4,068 people in 1,139 households.[2]

[edit]Alamarvdasht features a hot semi arid climate, (Köppen climate classification: BSh). Due to annual precipitation is in the range of 50%–100% of the threshold, the classification is BSh (Hot semi-arid climate).
