Aylestone[3] is one of twenty one electoral districts and ward[4] within the Leicester City Council unitary area of Leicester in Leicestershire, England. It had a population of 11,944 at the 2021 Census.
Geography
[edit]The ward encompasses the suburb of Aylestone and most of Aylestone Park. Also nearby is the River Soar and former Great Central Main Line between Leicester Central railway station and Rugby Central railway station. It is now a public footpath.
