  • @Srnec: There are various names. Border poll is commonly used in the Irish context, but is more common than "territorial plebiscite", which can also refer to non-border-related referenda in Canadian territories. "border referendum" is most commonly used in the phrases "Irish border referendum" and "NI border referendum", but "border poll" seems to be a standalone phrase. I'm not wedded to this name so if you have a better idea for the common name, I'd be happy to hear it. buidhe 02:48, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
