Disha Biswas (born 3 April 2004) is a Bangladeshi cricketer.[1] She was part of the team that won a bronze medal at the 2022 Asian Games.[2] She is captaining the Bangladesh women's under-19 cricket team at the 2023 Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup in South Africa during January 2023.[3][4]
Career
[edit]Biswas captained the Bangladeshi side for the 2023 Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup.[5] In January 2023 she was named in Bangladesh's T20I squad for the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup.[6][7] In April 2023, she was earned maiden call-up for the ODI and T20I squad for the series against Sri Lanka.[8] In July 2023, She was also named in the squad for the series against India, but did not make her WODI or WT20I debut.[9][10] Latter she also named in the national squad for the series against Pakistan[11] and South Africa,[12] but fails to debut for national team.
In September 2024, she was named in Bangladesh's squad for the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup.[13][14]
