The Dothan Metropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of Geneva, Henry, and Houston counties in southeastern Alabama, anchored by the city of Dothan, county seat of Houston County. As of the 2010 census, the MSA had a population of 145,639.[1]

The Dothan Metropolitan Statistical Area is a significant part of the Dothan-Enterprise-Ozark Combined Statistical Area, which is composed of the Dothan metropolitan area, the Enterprise micropolitan area, and the Ozark micropolitan area.[3] As of the 2010 census, the CSA had a population of 245,838.[1]

The small portion of Dothan in Dale County is considered to be part of the Ozark Micropolitan Statistical Area, while the Houston and Henry county portions are part of the Dothan Metropolitan Statistical Area.
