Camp Encourage is a summer camp that serves autistic youth. The non-profit organization that runs the camp, which was founded in 2008, is based in Kansas City, Missouri. Its campground is at the Heartland Retreat Center, on Missouri 45 just west of Interstate 435 near the suburb of Parkville. Camp Encourage has been at its current location since 2023; prior to that, the camp was based at Tall Oaks Conference Center just east of Linwood, Kansas, between the cities of Bonner Springs and Lawrence.
Camp Encourage aims to offer a summer camp experience that caters to the varying needs of children and teens with autism. There are two 4-day sessions every summer, one in mid-June and the other in late July and early August. Activities offered include swimming, horseback riding, a zipline/ropes course, and archery, as well as a carnival during one of the days of each session.
