Delhi Public School, Noida (often referred to as DPSN) is a co-educational day and private boarding school educating pupils from Pre-Nursey to 12th grade, located in Noida in the district of Gautam Buddh Nagar, India. It was founded in 1982 as part of the Delhi Public School Society.[1]

DPS Noida is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).[2]

Campus

It is a co-educational day and boarding private school, located in Sector-30 Noida. The physical infrastructure, spread over 15 acres[3], comprises of Labs for Sciences and Language, Two Libraries, Audio Visual Room, Multi-Purpose Halls, Activity Room, Mathematics Lab, Cafeterias and a hostel with a capacity of 150 students.

Incidents - Negative Media Presence

Two students were injured in an alleged incident of ragging at the Delhi Public School hostel in Noida Sector 30 on May 5, 2016.[4]

The 'Healthy Bytes' Canteen, as well as a Cafe Coffee Day outlet functioning within the school failed to produce their registration certificate as well as food safety licenses. As of 2024, there have been no updates on the issue.[5]

Vir Das – Internationally acclaimed leading stand up comedian and Bollywood actor. He has recently been honoured with a doctorate for his achievements in the world of performing arts.

Anika Verma – In 2019, she achieved No.1 position in India in Women’s Amateur Golf. A child prodigy, she started playing the Indian National Circuit at the age of 8.

Avinav Mukherjee – A dancer, choreographer, actor, he has performed at the cultural ceremony of London Olympics, Common Wealth Games and many renowned festivals across the world.

Nimrit Kaur – Well entrenched in the film world, her breakthrough role in ‘The Lunch Box’, ‘Airlift’ and the American Television series ‘Homeland’ catapulted her to instant stardom.

Suhail Mathur – An award winning author of The Bhairav Putras and ‘The Hunt for Rama’s Bow’, he has been called India’s J.K. Rowling by the critics.

Shinjini Kulkarni – Grand daughter of Kathak maestro Pt. Birju Maharaj, she has performed at prestigious dance festivals in India and abroad.

Sukriti Chaturvedi – popular RJ with Radio Mirchi.

Suryansh Agarwal – topper of CA final Examination in the 1st attempt. He also secured AIR 1 in the ICSI Company Secretary Exam.  Kalpita Kachroo – Finalist, Dance Deewane Season 2

Kushaal Chawla – Award winning film maker who has written and directed various movies including ‘One Way’and ‘Another Time’ that have been screened in International Film Festivals.

Mahir Pandhi – Indian television actor and model, winner of the Top Model India Hunt in 2018.

Tarushi Gupta – Internationally acclaimed fashion photographer.

Abhishek Gupta – A child prodigy, he is the founder of Montreal AI Ethics Institute.

Atulya Mahajan – Writer and satirist, popular for his books ‘Democrazy’ and ‘Amreekandesi’.

Tej Pratap Singh Yadav – Indian politician, former Member of Parliament in the Indian Lok Sabha.

Vipul Naik (Batch 2014) – Was selected to represent India in the International Maths Olympiad (One of the six students chosen for this prestigious competition) twice and won medals at both the events. A prodigy in Maths, Vipul Naik won every conceivable competition in this field during his tenure in school.

Rushil Khosla, a Tennis prodigy, is the only Indian player in the Asian Tennis Federation’s top 10 list and the No.1 rank holder in the U-14 years (Boys) category.

Chaitanya Sharma of Class XII became a registered player of BCCI with his inclusion in the state team of Himachal Pradesh under-19.

Aaliyah Singh of Class XI, a swimming prodigy, has an impressive track record of winning several championships at state and national levels. Her talent has been recognised and felicitated by the state government who has given her, the title of ‘Jal Pari’. At the Khelo India Youth Games Swimming Tournament, she won several medals.

Navya Singhal of Class XI was selected for the Khelo India Youth Games-2020 after her outstanding performance in swimming at the 65th National School Games. She also bagged all 9 golds in the UP State Senior Swimming Championship-2019, setting new state records in all categories.

Parnika Srivastava was selected for the Khelo India Scholarship in the fielld of Basketball and has been selected for the National Camp.

Tanish Arora of Class XI was selected for Malaysia U-19 National Cricket Team and played the ACC Eastern Region Cricket Tournament as a deemed player for Malaysia.

Atharv Garg of Class VIII has attained International Rank 1 in IMO and NCO multiple times as well as top 5 international ranks in the NSO and IEO from 2019-24. He has represented the school in award ceremonies hosted by SOF to honour his achievements.

Darsh Kedia of Class VIII has attained International and All India Rank 1 in UCO, UIEO, IMO and NCO multiple times, since 2014, and has been awarded Academic Excellence Scholarship each year in the Uttar Pradesh/Uttarakhand zone.

Ashwath Dubey of Class VIII has written the novel, "The Chosen Celtic Warrior", and recieved awards for it.

Aditya Srivastava a Class IX student has been a consistent achiever in various Cyber Olympiads since he was in Class IV. He has won the international Rank 1 in NCO and UCO from 2015 to 2019.

Foreign Exchange Programme

DPS Noida has an unprecedented five student exchange programmes, running concurrently, with schools of Germany, Spain, Sweden, Denmark and Switzerland. The oldest program, the Indo German student exchange program, has entered its fourteenth year and has the strong support of Max Mueller Bhawan, Goethe Institute, India. Each year approximately 80-100 students opt for these programs and visit foreign shores to get an insight into the cultures and customs of their global counterparts.
