Farzana Aslem (born in the 20th century) is an astronomer, physicist, and academic. She was born in Wah Cantonment, Pakistan, and is a Pakistani resident. She is currently employed as an Associate Head of School at Coventry University.

Education

Aslem attended many educational institutions. She acquired her first degree from Quaid-i-Azam University in Pakistan. From this university, Aslem was able to get her bachelor’s degree of science. She attended the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manchester. She also attended Quaid-i-Azam University in Pakistan.

Professional Career

Shortly after getting her degree, Aslem joined the University of Punjab where she became a lecturer. She also worked as a professor at the University of Manchester, where she taught undergraduate mathematics, while also tutoring undergraduate students for physics and mathematics. She was also actively involved in the Ogden Teaching Fellowship where she advocated for the expanding of education for Pakistani women. Later, Aslem started employment at Coventry University where she began as a subject coordinator for some time before becoming a senior lecturer, and later the associate head of school at the university where she is still employed.
