Lorenzo De Stefano is an American film director, producer and screenwriter.[1][2][3][4]
Early life and education
[edit]De Stefano was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii.[2] While still in high school, he began working as a location scout for local commercial production companies and apprenticed to several independent filmmakers based in Hawaii.[3]
Career
[edit]De Stefano moved from Carmel to Los Angeles where he worked at the post-production facilities of National Geographic Films in Hollywood. His first onscreen credit was as an assistant editor on the National Geographic Special, Hong Kong - A Family Portrait[2] directed by Robert M. Young. [citation needed]
In 2008, DeStefano founded the Ventura Film Society.[4]
