MapKing is a smart city services company with focus in Asia Pacific market. MapKing started as a professional geographical information system (GIS) service and town planning consultant in its early years. Recently, the gropu engages in smart cities, smart transportation, connected vehicles and fleet management businesses, artificial intelligence (AI), drone and virtual reality services.
The firm is static and dynamic content supplier serving Apple Maps、Google Maps、Tencent Maps and logistic sectors in Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau and Asia cities。
MapKing navigation software and map bundled with HP, HTC, Nokia Pocket PCs and smartphones and PND-Personal Navigation Device in some 15 major cities in Asia in early years. Some services covers Saudi Arabic and UAE.
In 2018, the firm started second generation real time trafffic system data services development. Joint venture eTaxi was established with Hong Kong Taxi Council in 2018/19. In 2020, MapKing partner with Tencent launched strategic live traffic data service in V2X[1].
MapKing operates GPSHK brand which is a fleet management services leading in Hong Kong。
