Career in Fintech, AI, and Investment Management

[edit]

Sam’s career spans over two decades, beginning in fintech, hedge funds, and investment management. He foresaw the disruption of human-driven financial trading by AI and shifted his focus toward developing AI-based investment solutions. This vision led to the creation of Investifai, a deep learning-based technology designed to manage global investment portfolios using tactical asset allocation.

In collaboration with PhD experts, Sam published the significant paper "Adaptive Portfolio Asset Allocation Optimization with Deep Learning" in 2018. He has also contributed to Entrepreneur magazine with his article "Five Ways Artificial Intelligence Is Disrupting Asset Management".

In 2018, Sam founded Stallion AI, which later evolved into World AI X Ventures. This AI-focused company specializes in research and development across multiple sectors, including defense, education, and AI management consulting. One of the company’s notable initiatives is the creation of World AI School, a no-code AI platform launched in 2024 to teach machine learning to students and children.

Philosophy and Thought Leadership

[edit]

Sam’s intellectual pursuits are influenced by philosophers and AI pioneers such as Marvin Minsky and Joscha Bach. He regularly contemplates profound questions about consciousness, the universe, and the intersection of technology and human evolution. He shares his reflections through his platform, AI2071.com, which explores the future of AI and its societal implications.

A proponent of the first principles approach, Sam believes that effective leadership requires aligning big-picture thinking with attention to detail. He actively engages in breaking complex problems down into their fundamental elements to drive innovation and progress.

Challenging the Status Quo in the Age of AI

[edit]

While governments are designed to improve the lives of their citizens and companies drive the global economy, Sam challenges whether these institutions are prepared for the rapid changes brought on by AI. As AI increasingly takes over decision-making, Sam argues that if governments and corporations fail to evolve, they risk creating systems that serve a select few, leaving many struggling to find relevance in an AI-driven economy. His focus is on reshaping these structures to ensure that human well-being remains at the core of the AI revolution.
