The House Passed H.R. 4887, to amend the Federal Aviation Act of 1958 relating to research for prevention of defects and failures of aircraft. The House passed H.Con.Res 325, expressing the sense of the Congress that the United States remain firmly committed to its mutual defense treaty with the Republic of Korea. The House agreed to Rep. Ford’s motion to suspend the rules and concur in the Senate amendments to H.R. 20, the bill to allow greater political activity by federal employees and to protect them from political pressure.
