The knockout stage of the Women's football tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics will be played from 3 to 10 August 2024.[1][2] The top two teams and the two best-ranked third-placed teams from each group in the group stage qualify for the knockout stage.[3]
In the knockout stage, if a match is level at the end of 90 minutes of normal playing time, extra time will be played (two periods of 15 minutes each) and followed, if necessary, by a penalty shoot-out to determine the winner.[3]
